Stéphane Lauvaux

LauvauxStephane

Stéphane Lauvaux was a student at the ‘Haute École Provinciale Charleroi Université du Travail de Ath’ in Belgium. He obtained a bachelor in tropical agronomy in 2006, and in 2009 a master in industrial horticulture engineering, undergoing a 15 weeks training at the Horticulture Research and Development Center, in St- Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec.

He worked on the effects of the mineral deficiency on different strawberry cultivars specific to the St-Jean-sur-Richelieu region. This was to compare the sensitivity of the different cultivars regarding different deficiencies. Following the behaviour of each cultivar facing the deficiencies, a determination key adapted for the Quebec cultivars will be put in place, specifically for the St-Jean-sur-Richelieu region.
