Carmen
Beldica
 Carmen Beldica was born in Romania. In 1988 she obtained
a diploma in industrial chemistry from the College of Industrial Chemistry of Busteni
(Romania). In 1995 she migrated to Canada where she continued her study in computer
science at the College Édouard-Montpetit in Longueuil (Québec), where she obtained an
A.E.C. in computer sciences. During her training course she designed databases in MS
Access and consulted the users on Internet. In May 1999 she joined the small and tree
fruit research team at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada,
St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec.
She is presently working on developing databases related to horticulture, preparing the
images, graphics, text for posters, books and scientific publications.
