Li Ding

 

Li Ding obtained her B.Sc. in Pomology in 1998 from Shandong Agriculture University and her M.Sc. in Pomology in 2002 from Shenyang Agriculture University in P. R. China. She got her Ph.D. in Ecology sciences in 2005 from Institute of Botany, The Chinese Academy of Sciences, P. R. China. In 2006, she worked in Chonbuk National University of South Korea as a Postdoctoral fellow. She is now a visiting fellow working at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Horticulture Research and Development Center, Fruit Breeding and Physiology Laboratory Research team under the supervision of S. Khanizadeh in Quebec, Canada. She is presently studying the changes of antioxidant enzymes (APX, MDHAR, DHAR and GR) and the level of compounds (ascorbate and glutathione pools, and H2O2) involved in the ascorbate–glutathione cycle in leaves of selected strawberry phenotypes infected by Mycosphaerella fragariae to determine the different antioxidant and physiological responses among genotypes with varying levels of resistance to this pathogen during stress conditions.
