Yvon
Groleau obtained a technologist diploma in fruit and vegetable horticulture from the
Institut de Technologie Agricole in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec in 1974.
From 1974 to
1981, he worked as a technician in tobacco physiology. He is presently employed at
the AAFC station in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu as a technician specializing in the genetics and
physiology of apple and strawberry crops.
